Stage Entertainment Spain has signed a 5-year agreement with the Spanish insurer OCASO that reinforces our bet for the protection of the performing arts.

Grand Premiere of Goethe! – The Musical in Tokyo & Osaka
The renowned Japanese all-female theater company, Takarazuka (pronounced Takarazka) Revue, is set to bring a fresh take on the early life of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe to the stage. This long-awaited production will mark the first time Stage Entertainment presents a show in Japan, making it a one-of-a-kind event.
The musical, originally developed years ago, explores the formative years of Goethe before his rise to literary fame. The Takarazuka Revue, known for its extravagant productions and elegant performances, will infuse this historical narrative with a surprising modern twist—hip-hop music. The lyrics are drawn directly from Goethe’s own works, blending classical literature with contemporary rhythm and allowing past and present to fuse in symbiosis.

Arendelle will soon be ruled by a new Ice Queen: Musical talent Chiara Fuhrmann takes on the role of the Die Eiskonigin and, together with many new cast members, will enchant the Stuttgart audience from February 17, 2026, alongside her stage sister Kim Fölmli (Anna).

Stage Entertainment Spain Introduces Audiodescription for El Rey Lion
Stage Entertainment Spain continues to strengthen its commitment to accessibility by implementing support systems that improve communication for all audiences. The latest initiative launched at Madrid’s Lope de Vega Theatre is the introduction of audiodescription for the musical The Lion King. Audiodescription is an innovative service that consists of providing audio information during the performance to describe key visual elements to blind people and those with visual impairments. This information is carefully integrated into the musical, allowing audiences to follow the action, characters, and visual details that may otherwise be difficult to perceive.

At the offices of Bpifrance, Stage Entertainment France took part in an important conversation on disability and accessibility alongside its accessibility ambassador, Enora Le Fustec. While there is still much work to be done, meaningful progress is being made, and the conversation continues to move forward!

Stage Entertainment France Honoured with the APAJH Award for Accessibility
Stage Entertainment France has been awarded the APAJH (Association Pour Adultes et Jeunes Handicapés) Award in the Culture category, recognising its strong commitment to accessibility and inclusion in the performing arts. The award, presented as part of the 2025 APAJH Trophies, celebrates initiatives that promote equal access to culture for people with disabilities.
Several representatives from Stage Entertainment France attended the ceremony, where Laurent Bentata delivered a short speech highlighting the company’s ongoing dedication to making musical theatre accessible to all. This distinction marks the second award received by Stage Entertainment France this year, serving as a meaningful recognition of the collective efforts of its teams!
